Fantail is a small wooden cabin that can add value to your property as a home office, studio, garden sleep out, or just an additional room.
 

The cabin comes as a complete flat pack kitset. All timber is pre-cut and just requires assembly. Please enquire if you would like us to provide a price for us to assemble your cabin on your site.

BUILDING YOUR CABIN
Helpful Instructions

Anyone with an understanding of building can build our cabins, with our simple do-it-yourself instructions included. Without much DIY experience allow a few days to get your cabin built. If you're a pro and have a few mates around, you'll probably knock it up in a couple of days.

 

Key points to remember; Get your piles and bearers 100% square and level, knock every piece into place tightly, tighten and re tighten your wall boards as you go and when your finished comprehensively seal the exterior as the timber is not treated. The wood may sweat water and sap for a month or so while it dries out. With this the doors and windows may need adjusting from time to time

Due to liability restraints, we are unable to directly assist in building the cabins. Depending on your location, we can recommend builders we know and trust, including those who have built our cabins for previous customers. For more info, please refer to our warranty page.
